For the European elections of May 26, 2019, Scalo Fluviale provided transportation and set-up services for polling stations and billboards in both the city of Venice and the mainland.<\/p>\n
Voting took place across Europe from May 23 to 26, but each country independently chose its own election date.
\nIn Italy, voting took place on Sunday, May 26, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. For voting purposes, Italy was divided into five electoral constituencies: North-Western (1st constituency), North-Eastern (2nd constituency), Central (3rd constituency), Southern (4th constituency), and Insular (5th constituency).<\/p>\n
These elections were held to elect new members of the European Parliament. Italy had 76 seats available, three more than in the last elections in 2014. The new development in these European elections is the increase in seats available for some countries, given the United Kingdom’s exit due to Brexit.<\/p>\n
Italians abroad, as usual, voted at the Italian consulates and embassies in their countries of residence.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, Scalo Fluviale provided transportation and set-up for polling stations and billboards in Venice and on the mainland. We also offer transportation and set-up services for events, fairs, art exhibitions of international importance, as well as for shops and small businesses.<\/p>\n
